About me
Inspired by my late grandmother's love for textiles, I carry on her legacy by creating weavings and yarn using beautiful, natural materials.
With a previous creative background in photography, my interest and love shifted to textiles when eight years ago I became the custodian of my grandmother’s craft supplies and tools. Having these precious resources, I started to practice weaving and have fallen in love with this ancient craft. I feel connected to her and continue to celebrate our shared interests.
Weaving led to spinning and many of the natural fibres I use are sourced directly from animal friendly farms and small businesses. Choosing materials mindfully and with intention remains part of my practice.
I am also an advocate for using what we already have and found or might be even gifted instead of buying new for everything. There is joy in recycling materials into beautiful and functional items and giving them a new life.
